A Risk Management & Educational Curriculum for Nurse Aide
InService Monthly is a training series designed to instruct and inspire nurse aides. The program’s content was developed based upon research indicating where litigation, civil money penalties and survey deficiencies are most likely to occur.

Peer-to-Peer Instruction
CNAs interact with real residents, demonstrating proper skill application and problem solving. CNAs speak from experience and share their insights, tips and techniques in unscripted, documentary-style interviews. A common theme that runs throughout the curriculum is an emphasis on recognizing and reporting changes in a resident’s physical and mental condition.

Documented Results

Inservice Monthly has undergone independent evaluations. One study indicated that our curriculum combined with changes in care practices was associated with reductions in falls and pressure ulcers. Evaluations have shown the following.

  • The information is being understood
  • The program has value to CNA's with a broad range of experience
  • Areas of weakness can be identified
  • CNAs prefer peer-to-peer instruction.
